idk what the official stance is on people leaving EgN It seems that whenever someone leaves it gets taken really personally by clan members and the bridges are burnt as soon as possible. I mean sure, if you're a banana bootyhole (lel over 9000 wordfilters no-no words) and you're a bad clan member then gtfo, but even new members who can't play for whatever reason are treated like tumors. Is the aggression intended? |

Generally whenever people leave, the response will depend on what they said in their LOA, who they were as a person, and the particular person responding. Some people leave and get hell given to them. Why? Because they're reason for leaving was so blatantly stupid it wasn't even worth telling them goodbye. For example: Noob He just left earlier today (And it wouldn't surprise me if he was the reason you were making this post), but his reason for leaving was BS. He showed us that he clearly liked HoE more than EgN, and since he had recently gotten an admin position on HoE, he was going to leave us for them. In a sense, he was double-clanning because he had already been expecting to receive that admin position. He also said he may come back if HoE doesn't work out, so he pretty much made us his backup plan. We don't want members who don't enjoy EgN more than other communities. Now, with other people, it's different. With Rezz, he left for a console clan (Which btw, it's a general consensus that console clans aren't really even clans, and are a waste of time), and afterwards he ended up adding a new tag to his name. Not gaining him much respect after leaving us for a console "clan". With people such as Balazabus, and many others, they'll leave with the reasons of "The clans goin in the shitter!" or "Too many problems." We get mad at these people because, in a sense, they're giant pussies(Dat censor doe), and they're also insulting the clan as a whole. They leave instead of letting a higher-up/admin know that there's a problem, what that problem is, and seeing if there was a way to fix that problem. Kristian almost left in this manner, but I was able to talk to him and figure out what the problem is. Since then, he hasn't had a problem because it was taken care of because he told someone about it. /essay over |

Next time, please press the edit button on your post (largely placed in the bottom right hand corner), and change what needs changing. Also, please make all your posts meaningful. This post is stupid. Thank you. |

Is the aggression intended? Pretty much what Wartheft has posted, the upper-echelon of EgN generally doesn't get too bothered over people leaving for their own reasons. Some quietly move on and find new places to hang-out or new friends who enjoy some game they like, its the natural social order of these places. This clan and most others out there run like a school, every year or so a new generation of EgN will rise up and within 6 months or so 60-75% of them will LOA or just disappear. That might seem like a high rate of drop-outs but its to be expected, this is a friend oriented place and if people can't find niches or cliches to get into then they move on. People like Wartheft and Pretzl and Krazy are from last generations Neophytes, they stuck around and rose to fill spots that were needed. Myself and Blazin are from the earliest generations of this community, Doldol and Sloppy from a old one as well and I'm sure remember many good old memories of their "Class" or generation. Consider all the people me and Blazin knew back then when the old clan had 200-300 people, out of those hundreds just me and Blazin remain. It's just the way of life, and as you get older and graduate High-School and move on to adult life you'll see less and less of your school friends, some of you over 16 probably have some friends from grades 1-4 who you might not hang-out with anymore.
