It was used, if you're not familiar with it, as a word to lower the life-quality of african slaves. "Nigger" was, and still is, used to make people of african heritage less worth than a white man. So yes, the term is racist. I'm also going to put in some parent logic here. What'sup mah nigga! This is not racist, it is just a substitute for the word "friend." And if you think that you can't say it to black people, my best friend is black and we say it to each other all the time. He takes no offense. Situation 2. Fucking niggers/niggas always ___ing. This is stereotyping, saying they are always doing whatever verb you put in there. That is racist, because, obviously, not all of them do that thing. |
