I just wanted to do a friendly reminder to do ban reports.

When you complete a ban that is over 1 hour long go to viewforum.php?f=41 and click on New Topic

Once you've clicked on new topic you want to set up your template for your ban reports

Code:
 [color=#00FF00][b]Name:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Steam ID (or IP):[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Duration of ban:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Time ban was invoked:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Server:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Reason:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Witnesses:[/b][/color]
[color=#00FF00][b]Full description of what happened:[/b][/color]

Which you can also get here viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1158

To get the information you need to submit a ban go to sourcebans http://elevatedgaming.net/sb/index.php?p=home or

Go to http://elevatedgaming.net/sb/index.php?p=admin&c=admins
Click on "Advanced Search" and type your name in the "Nickname" area and then click where it says "bans" near your name and you'll see how many bans you have done.

If a user is HACKING/SCRIPTING - Get a higher up to look at it
(Always record demo when someone is scripting or hacking) -------------(If noticable like screen upside, screen shaking every and their running straight and getting head shot after headshot. Record and then ban them and submit the ban with the demo.
"Side note" - bhop scripting is really impossible to prove so don't even try it.

How to record a demo
Press your tilde key (`)
Type in console record <demo name>

to locate your demo file it's
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike

they end with .dem

You can review your demos in console by typing
playdemo <name of demo>
[Advanced demo commands] https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wik ... ding_Tools

Let me know if I missed anything just post it here.

Maybe you should add how you need evidence of an Aimbot, I've seen alot of players ban for aimbot without any proof.

that has only been said and spoken of even on these forums for forever.. nothing new here.. just learn to read and you wouldn't have these issues.. along with the "schooling" there shouldn't of had any issues in that department

Yeah I know what you mean but it seems like since there hasn't been any admin school. There hasn't been any ban reports for some of the bans when I was reviewing over sourcebans so i decided to make this.
(This should help anyone who becomes admin and they make any bans)

good idea and thank you I did add that in there
