Well aren't I fucked! About 3 weeks ago (the last week before the Christmas Holidays had begun) I had an Assignment due on the Thursday, and here at college if you don't hand in that assignment by the due date you fail the assignment, and to progress onto the following year you have to at least achieve a pass on every assignment and if you fail 1, you fail the entire year. It came to the first week of the holidays, and I stop and literally had a panic attack, I didn't know if I had handed in my assignment or not, I was certain that I didn't so I emailed my Teacher for the subject (Maths for IT - If you don't know what this is you work with Binary coding etc) and I waited and waited for a reply back from him, and no reply was provided. Yesterday we had our lesson (Maths for IT, and today I have Programming with him) and come to the end of the lesson I almost left without even asking him about the Assignment, but thankfully I had reminded myself. So I ask him about it, and he told me he was sure I handed it in considering he counted the assignments he had and all came positive, but then he told me he'll get back to me tomorrow (today) and see if you have handed it in, if not then just hand me it and i'll mark it as you've handed it in on the due date. After that I got so much relief, as I do want to progress onto the next year of the course, I literally went to my friend "Thank fucking god". So basically I forgot to hand in my assignment, almost was to fuck my life. |

I think this just re-affirms my suspicions that shcool, is in fact, for fools. And cut-off dates being the same date it was handed in? And if you miss ONE assignment, you're toast? Are you like the only student there? Because that is an asinine rule. |

I was lucky yeah. Charlie - basically we get a few weeks to do the Assignment we have to hand it in on the due date exact, and if you don't you've failed the entire year. |
